1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ReceiptTrackr mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

ReceiptTrackr is a mobile application that allows users to:

  • Capture and store receipt images
  • Extract receipt data using AI-powered OCR technology
  • Organize receipts by categories
  • Track expenses across multiple currencies
  • Export receipt data in various formats

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
  • Upload malicious code or harmful content
  • Use the App to store fraudulent or falsified documents
  • Resell or redistribute the App without authorization

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the App, including receipt images and associated data. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and represent that you have the right to upload such content.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by ReceiptTrackr and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • OCR results will be 100% accurate
  • The App will meet your specific requirements
  • Any errors will be corrected

You should always verify extracted receipt data for accuracy, especially for tax or legal purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECEIPTTRACKR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Errors in OCR processing

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months prior to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReceiptTrackr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ReceiptTrackr operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the App or sending you an email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
